Figure Drawing for Beginners

with Sarah Kilcoyne

19th Oct – 4th Nov, every Monday and Wednesday, 19:30 – 21:30

Your favourite Figure Drawing Class is back again!

Are you a budding artist, with a lust for sketching and creativity? Do you spend sleepless nights huddled under a desk lamp, relentlessly striving to illustrate your innermost thoughts and desires? But you still just can’t seem to get that guy’s legs to look quite right??

Then this might be the course for you.

Figure Drawing for Beginners aims to provide an understanding of how to draw the human body, and provide a platform for further self-driven improvement.

Combining a knowledge of basic anatomical theory and working from a live model, we will cover the basic principles of human figure drawing. These include areas such as human proportion, muscle structure, the hands and feet, the portrait, and more.

Students will be required to bring their own pencils and sketchbook.
(We will have some paper and pencils available but it is encouraged to have your own sketchbook, to keep all of your drawings together and be able to track your progress.)

19th Oct – 4th Nov
every Monday and Wednesday
19:30 – 21:30
(6 x sessions in total)

€120  (taxes are included)

Students will also get a nice handout to take home, containing all of the material we have covered throughout the course, to refer back to later.

Cancellation policy:
Full refund of payment for a class will be given for cancellations only if the spot can be filled by another student. Please be considerate. We reserve the right to cancel a class in unusual circumstances or if minimum attendance numbers are not met. In this situation, of course, a full refund will be given.
