Digital Painting Workshop 101 – Introduction to Photoshop

If you are a traditional artist wanting to catch up with the digital world, or a graphic designer thinking of switching to a career in illustration, this course will be really useful and fun.

For an intensive 3 weeks – 2 days per week, we’ll take a look at how to use Photoshop to paint, illustrate, and create stunning digital drawings and paintings.

This is a very technical course where you will learn everything needed to created fine art digital images with Photoshop. This class is for beginners that already have a little knowledge of Photoshop and want to improve their technical skills.



› A wacom tablet
› A laptop
› Photoshop software (CS6 and +) installed
› Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Adobe products



Taught by David Belliveau:

David Belliveau is a self taught illustrator from Montreal. He has been working as a graphic designer for over 10 years and is now making the switch between design and illustration. In 2011 he began to fall in love with digital drawing an has been pushing his own limits since then.

Full refund of payment for a class will be given for cancellations only if the spot can be filled by another student. Please be considerate. We reserve the right to cancel a class in unusual circumstances or if minimum attendance numbers are not met. In this situation, of course, a full refund will be given.
