with Marcos Morales

March 27, 28, 30 and 31
7:30pm – 9:30pm
Course Fee: 120€

This workshop will be a ‘creative laboratory’, with the aim of turning Photoshop into your favourite collage making tool. We will also delve deeper into topics like Art Direction, and explore the creative process in greater detail.

Through a thorough examination of other digital collage artists, we will try to figure out their process and how they achieve their style. This won’t be a case of just looking at references, but more so dissecting them and analysing them bit by bit: composition, textures, colours, filters, effects, layering, amongst others.  By understanding them, and learning how to use the correct Photoshop tools, you will create the opportunity to add a whole new range of possibilities to your work.

› A laptop with Adobe Photoshop installed.
› To be familiarised with Photoshop: using layer masks, and selection tools like Lasso or Pen tool.

Do you feel that you would like to learn the tools needed for digital collage from scratch? You are welcome to join the first part of the workshop!
